Born in the States, I enjoy drawing, listening to as well as making music. In my oh so little spare time I love manga and kickass bands like Paramore, VersaEmerge, My Chemical Romance, Black Veil Brides, Linkin Park (USA), Muse (UK), and Nightmare (Japan).
I dream of becoming an illustrator or a graphic novelist. Of course, my ultimate flight of fancy would be singing in a band and touring the world as well as this...^^; Writing novels or animating would also suffice. :) I also aim to gett better at one more instrument: notably guitar or drum set. :) I play percussion for my school's marching band, and am taking harp lessons for concert band just cuz. ;D
And for a little more me? I dream of going to Japan one day, meeting some new, cool people (really just traveling the world in general, but mainly Japan), I like to stand out because I refuse to blend into silence anymore, and though I'm dark looking, I'm energetic when I want to be and sometimes I feel quite innocent, but more on that later. ;)

And, I know what you mean about not enough "pain", it's like you want to struggle in order to work for what you want. Hopefully, I'll be just in that very situation, the struggle. I'm about to enter the real world as an actual adult, and I'm going to need to fight for my place in it. Good to know I'm going to still have friends like you to remind me why I want it so bad.

Yeah, and even through all the "bullshit" I've had in my life, I've led a comparatively good life, so I really think I need the struggle in order to become that fighter to be what I want to be. One of the guitarists from The Relapse Symphony posted this...[link] I know I'm self-critical a lot, so the "complaining" comes naturally, but now I know how precious opportunities are, and hopefully I'll learn to fight for them too someday. Best of luck to you and kickin' serious ass in the world, and since you're a year ahead of me, lemme know how it goes, yeah? XD
And no problem. Especially during the semi-monotony of summer, I'd lose my drive, but this year I want to change. Thanks for being one of the only close friends I still have who gets that.

Well, honey, I'll make sure to let you know how the world is, and I know you'll be a damn good fighter. Soon enough you'll be a part of the real world, and you'll be ready to fight for what you want in life. I'll always be here to cheer you on, that's one of the beauties of you and me being friends. No matter how long we go without talking, we know we'll always be here for each other. No matter how many friends I lose (and I've lost a lot, especially recently) you are one of the golden few who I know will never abandon me.

Yellowstone...blecch. It was mainly driving until my stepdad (the driver) got out to take pictures of everything he saw. Mom, my lil bro, and I would wait in the car for hours. And the locations we all saw together...I felt like it could've been more...special? I dunno...
I'm just glad to be back home where I can let my imagination and mind run rampant w/ my guitar, my poster-covered room, and all the movies, games, and anime I want. XDDD (too much of a city-girl, I guess...no wonder I wanna live in Cali for college. XD) I've never been to New York and my mom and stepdad have been twice. NOT FAIR.
