Dude, did you see Nintendo's Digital Event? It's awesome! That Dragon Ball Z fight between Reggie and Iwata! And that guy who's like:

BTW, Remember that last scene where Miyamoto was playing some game? Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a new Starfox game for Wii U!

That's what I love about Nintendo. Just when you start to lose faith in them, but drag you back in. They should come out with something better than Swapnote!
IMO this E3 had the most underwhelming titles. DGMW I love the new Zelda, Splatoon, SSB, Shantae and such. But, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker? Another Mario vs. DK? Seriously? (Because Kirby Canvas Curse was SO much fun the first time)
Anyways, what was your favorite E3 announcement? I'm trying to decide between Splatoon and the new Zelda.

Hmm... it's hard to decide. Almost none of the new games got me super excited tbh. So, either Smash Bros. or Pokemon OR/AS.

I know a friend who loves Kirby Canvas Curse, and he just got a Wii U.
The artstyle for the new Zelda was meh. It's a bit, well, too bright. You know what I mean. And the only good (IMO) Zelda game was OOT 3D.
The Captain Toad thing... no, just no.
Splatoon... meh.
So yeah, I hope Nintendo brings back Swapnote or something similar. AND SOME GOOD THIRD PARTY GAMES, GODAMMIT!

They should at least have GTA V. It's a system seller. The game is so good, that people will buy it again for the next gen consoles.
Seriously, if they had some GOOD third party games, they win the console race, pretty much. They have the best first party games (Zelda, Mario, etc.), and if they had the same third party games, THEY WIN!
Nintendo should throw some money at Rockstar, and have GTA V. That game alone can sell CONSOLES! Plus Smash Bros? WIN!

No matter how good they made your childhood, you're still just a customer to them. If they really cared about fans so much, region locking would be gone by now.
They didn't listen to the fans, and they didn't make another F-Zero/Starfox/Metroid.
Look what their ignorance did to them.
It's sad and pathetic when a console has to rely on 2 games (Smash Bros, Mario Kart) to survive.
So yeah, Iwata and Nintendo's top management should go, and maybe even Reggie. They need new people in there. And just because they have 8 or so billion dollars in the bank, doesn't mean they'll just sit there losing money. Sorry, but it's too late to save the Wii U. No GTA V or any other game just as huge? C'mon now, that's failure.

I do agree that Nintendo doesn't care about its fans as much as it should, but there's a reason it's been around for over a hundred years. They do things their way. It's their biggest weakness, but also their greatest strength.

I don't think their 1st party games alone can save the Wii U. Even Super Mario 3D World (even though it's a fantastic game) didn't help much.
