I've been proudly sober from Transformers since 2014 (since TLK was so awful), and then they show me this trailer and I'm going through Transformers withdrawal!  This trailer looks amazing and I love the vibe of it!!   So excited!  And I was 100% not interested in this movie until the trailer.  Can't wait!!

I thought it was a G1 look for Starscream at first, but then a lot of people pointed out that it looks more like Armada Starscream.  I looked at all three versions of Starscream side by side, and the head is definitely more like Armada's design than G1.  The body looks like G1 though from what we can see, but again more red and no blue like Armada's.  To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he's actually called something else in the movie, like Ramjet, since we already have had a movieverse Starscream.  Anyway, the design is badass so who cares anyway.

I was technically on a TF break and this actually reignited the spark I had from eons ago. Definitely seeing it when it comes out. And it's Starscream. It's been confirmed. lol you should see the responses on twitter about it. 50% Is about Bumblebee being adorable and 50% is fangirling/fanboying over Starscream. A small 10% is memes cause of John Cena and Rickrolling. And here's a bit of news: Our favorite bad cop is gonna be in it as well with Jess Harnell reprising his role. The girl, Charlie, is already on my favorites cause she asked Bee "WHO are you?" not "WHAT are you?" she really cares about Bee. First movie human since Lennox and Epps that I actually like. Travis Knight has done a fantastic job with it. And that's just from the teaser trailer alone. December 21st needs to get here fast lol

So I know this is a prequel to the movieverse, but is it also kind of a reboot?  I've been out of the loop on this movie set up.  I'm hoping it is a reboot/prequel, because otherwise this new look for Starscream wouldn't make much sense considering how much different he looks in movies 1-3.  And I hope Starscream gets a new voice.  I like his deeper voice in the 2007 movie, but I didn't like how it became that annoying/whiny type in ROTF and DOTM.

I never cared for Barricade, but I like Jess Harnell because, you know, IRONHIDE.

The only place I hang out on in Twitter is the anime section; pretty much only follow Japanese fans because they make the best fanart.  Otherwise, I'm not really a Twitter person.

I never understood the thing with John Cena and memes.  I don't know much about him, but I look forward to his role in the movie.

I'm loving Charlie a lot right now.  She'll probably be my favorite lead in a Transformers movie.  I liked her in the trailer so I'm hoping she does well in the movie. Seems like her and Bumblebee will do great together.  Another thing makes me wonder that if this is just a prequel and not also a reboot, what makes Bumblebee leave Charlie behind (and eventually find Sam instead).  I hope something doesn't happen to her, but if something does then it could be an interesting ending.

And the music in the trailer is sooooooooooo good.  I want the soundtrack so bad now.

I can't remember if AOE or TFTLK ever had an official soundtrack with lyrical songs or not. Kinda wish AOE had one cause some of the songs I heard weren't bad tbh. Something tells me that they might pull a Guardians of the Galaxy on us and have a soundtrack dedicated to songs in the 80's and maybe the 70's. If they do then imma buy the album. I'm a sucker for old songs.
