Advanced Placement classes have an exam at the end of the year that all schools take. You get a score out of 5, and you need a three to pass. Advanced Placement classes used to be substitutes for college courses, but right now a lot of them aren't anymore. xD They're just ridiculously hard classes that are above Honors level. I'm aiming for a 5, getting a three is supposedly for average students. Dx
It'd be a good idea to take AP exams and AP classes for college. You want to score well on the exams because that, as opposed to the coursework, is what colleges will really look at.
