Pegasi are beautiful, that's true. It all started with me wondering how a centaur would function, since though they are creatures of myth and legend they need to move and have some body mechanics. Some day I'll finish my unicorn anatomy, I hope.

That would be awesome! Do you think about working on Werewolfs or other creatures that can change their appearing? I guess it's quite difficult. XD
But I love the kind of ideas that mix fantasy with realism.

I will try my best. At the moment I'm really mostly on my OCs and artwork for my stories, but most things never transition from the Sketches, concepts or W.I.P.s, which is kinda sad.
Shapeshifting is something interesting, but not that difficult, quite the oppisite, since we all have roughly the same skeleton. Some minor restructuring in the spine and hip and chest (and skull, yes) is mostly all it would take from animal form to human form. I would imagine them as having the same skeletons as their normal species counterpart, but perhaps in a different scale (exept perhaps those two-legged werewolf forms that seem to be so popular in Hollywood nowadays). What would be interesting is inventing a digestive tract for vampires, as well as perhaps a different sort of circulatory system, to get the blood everywhere or how to combine that. Like what they drink will be sucked up into a capillary system which runs along the human system and spreads throughout the body from there.

Tja, ich finde deine Zeichnungen immer noch seeeehr interessant, die zeigen einfach, wie viel Mühe du dir mit der Konstruktion von Fabelwesen machst. ^^
Was die Vampire angeht, ich hab immerhin die Theorie, dass sie ähnlich wie Schlangen Gift in den Fangzähnen haben, das ihre Opfer lähmt (bzw. wohl auch high macht XD) und die Menschen, wenn es in zu großen Mengen injiziert wird, sogar verwandelt, also langsam deren Blut ersetzt ... folglich würde ich davon ausgehen, dass Vampire nicht wie Menschen richtiges Blut besitzen, sondern einen (giftigen) Ersatzstoff, in den das Blut umgewandelt werden müsste. Dazu würde passen, dass Vampire ja kalt sind, was einem warmen Blutfluss widersprechen würde. XD Und es passt zu der "klassischen" Sichtweise, dass das Opfer Vampirblut trinken muss, um verwandelt zu werden - wenn das Blut also einen ähnlichen Grundstoff hat wie das Gift oder sogar der gleiche Stoff ist, könnte man jemanden auch nur mit einem Biss verwandeln. Ist viel sicherer, als überall Blutspuren für die Profiler zu hinterlassen. XD XD XD

I do imagine them to have something like a poison or some bacteria or something like prions or cancer cell like structures who re-form the body after a bite and something that induces euphoria, but regardless of drinking the blood of the vampire or not. So my vampires always had some other device to open the vein in order to drink blood, to avoid an unintantional change.

No problem. I feel like english is the more appropriate language for this site. Just ... much more fitting.
I used to have the idea that the vampires need to induce a bit of their poison with the bite, but need to be careful not to induce too much, otherwise they're stuck with the victim for eternity. XD The fangs would only be used to open the vein and induce just enough poison to keep the victim still, while just drinking the blood coming through the wound (which is why they would open a bigger vein so they won't drink forever. XD ) Or they hang the victim upside down and collect the blood otherwise, if they preferr blood full of adrenaline or the likes. XD I just liked the idea that vampires, like snakes, needed to learn to induce the right amount of poison.
