~Well, you SHOULD write the actual piece of literature in Microsoft Word (preferably) or Word Pad for the reason that deviantART has an option when uploading deviations that says 'add text'. That is where you would write the said text, but it is very complicated that way in my own opinion, so I copy and paste my work from Microsoft Word (which is where I can edit and proofread it first
~Also, to italicize a word you must place it in between this:

REMOVE ASTERISKS THOUGH (*)!!!!
~Lastly, when you copy and paste, you will see that any 'enters' or 'indents' you made will be gone, and you will need to redo them ^^:
But don't forget, I learned all of this from experience, and that enough should be proof that nothing is as difficult as it sounds
