Ahhh you're welcome! And yes, we should find a way to get that picture taken... I'll probably want to stick pencils in my hair or something daft like that

It's so wonderful seeing all of your new artwork! I haven't come on dA to browse and actually look at artwork for some time, but it's wonderful seeing your art again! I had started watching you on dA YEARS ago and I think your work influenced me to go into neuroscience myself.

hello Immy... apologies for the long gap in communication...still working on multiple projects outside of the rest of what passes for a mundane(ish) life, and dealing with personal and family issues that complicate many things still further on top of an already complicated existence...a serious embuggerance to be sure. have lots of textured paper and card stock that would be yours for the asking for your own current or future projects if you have need of them...
must get ready for the days events here...will talk again soon in some form or fashion
have an excellent and brilliantly magnificent day

Hi Scott! Likewise, apols for being out of touch... things are super-busy here at the moment. Managing work & health issues can be like juggling weasels, hehehee ^_^ How are you doing, you alright over there near the mountains? Here in UK we have had a killer heatwave, but I'm so glad the rain is back now

hello Immy,
so good to hear from you... doing fairly well on this side of the pond...could be better, but likewise things could be much worse.
also dealing with a few things over here, only working the one job now (the other got to be too stressful, and the personality conflicts
and political tirades got very wearisome and to be honest i was bored with it) still working in food prep, but i really need something more
mentally stimulating... i still have my art projects that i'm constantly working on so that does help preserve what sanity i have left...
plenty of textured paper and card stock and luggage tags to send your way if you could have need of them... pretty sure i still have your
correct addy... have also been experimenting with bookbinding a bit...or rather taking art journals and adding end papers, and gilt to the
pages and adding new covers to the binding that is more visually interesting and tactile... i'm sure that Beth's work is superior...but for
my needs, the tatty/weathered look appeals to me...had storms here last night..lots of rain and lightning...my kind of evening... hope to get
up to the mountains again soon...i miss not being there.
hope to hear from you again soon Immy
have an excellent evening
p.s.
think juggling hedgehogs would be a bit easier considering the aerodynamic aspects ...but that's just me

Hi Scott!
Well juggling weasels or hedgehogs, both are probably good analogies. & yeah I'm still in the same place, keeping busy. Sorry to hear work is not being so kind to you, but glad you have art to help feed your brain. Right now I'm trying to juggle lots of different streams of work of different sizes. My brain hurts lolol. I'd like to try bookbinding at some point. I like weathered books too. There are lots of instructional videos online for different methods... I just need some of that mythical 'free time', hehehe! Anyway, definitely envying your storms, but Autumn is about to get underway here. Starting to get those misty mornings. Can't wait for the rain!
Take care Scott, have a lovely weekend
Immy

Hello Immy,
a pretty day so far (still technically morning here at the moment) things to do places to go, recipes to share, that sort of thing. one or two errands this morning, pick up the paycheck (probably a small one) drop by my friends comic book store to buy the book i ordered for my cousins three year old daughter (Zoe...she who knows no fear) called This is a Taco (about a squirrel named Taco) a bit of house cleaning (that never ends does it?) then off to work this evening (yay!) hopefully, i'll be able to send you some things later this month... (finger, toes and eyes all crossed that happens sooner rather than later) i've had textured paper/card stock and tags to send you for ages and it's well
past time that you had them to do creative things with... a personal bookbinding project would be a lot of fun to develop and create over time...something along the line of the voynich manuscript or the equally unusual Codex Seraphinianus would be interesting to work on... already have thousands (literally) of radar images (screen grabs stitched together) i want to use as the basis of islands and other land masses for maps for such a book as part of the narrative context of an adventure...we'll see just where that goes.... not expecting thunderstorms until tomorrow...hope they are nice ones when they finally arrive... need to start those errands now...
have an exceptionally awesome day Immy

hello, i am back in my original 2009 account now, seems weird, thinking, hmm, 7 years of hogwarts, lego builds, and i am back making hogwarts again for another 7 years, with the new #fantasticbeastsandwheretofindthem movies ,
so i am back, re-aquainting myself to all 7 year accounts, wow, i thought people who were on here for 15 - 16 years had a good tim eline, i sort of, jumped around in my 16 accounts htat i have now, so i thought, ah, it is time i stuck with the 7, hogwarts, and did a retrospective, HOgwarts lego look back on all the lego forms. squee. yeah, imagine deviantart onpeoples phones in the future, i guess deviantart will always be a CPU hard drive, storage, to image application, not enough room on a phone for all the deviantart memoryi guess, so, in th e next 7 years, .. it will be interesting seeing the change in internet dynamics, . i know in 2009, th e dA changed . and in 2012, and now, it all seems to have made it as a social interactive site now, horray for dA.
