I'm a black girl, and like to consider myself a Black American writer. I don't know if I've hit that status yet, but I'm really working on it. I've got so many ideas, and goals, and dreams, that I'm afraid I won't be able to hit them all. I'm a dreamer, looking for that one sweet cloud that will carry me all the way to the top, but I finally figured out that sleeping the day away won't get me closer to where I need to be.
