Honestly, any decent university will not give a damn what you got at GCSE so long as you got three/four decent A-Levels. And most colleges will say that you need an A in the subject at GCSE to take it at A-Level, though that's not always the case. I got a B for biology GCSE, and an A for biology A-Level. It's all relative.
