They assign so much in college Having to write one essay is bad enough, but more than one is a killer x.x

My classes are going well so far. The closest thing I have to animation right now is Film Appreciation, which isn't too close because we watch movies and then analyze them. It's a great class though.
As for my others, I think Math is going okay for me (but it's math so I can never be sure). I have an astronomy test tomorrow and I checked the study guide and it looks really easy??? welp my professor did say that quizzes were more important than the tests still, hopefully I will do good on the test
My women's studies class is basically Tumblr in the form of a class. We learn about privilege, oppression, all kinds of gender and sexualities that I've already heard about thanks to Tumblr. XD Of course that doesn't necessarily make it easy, but a lot of these kids hadn't even heard of pansexuality. It's surprising how much we learn on the internet :U

What do you do for film appreciation? Would that be like watching movies and analyzing them in essays??? That sounds pretty fun I would love that. 

What kind of math are you in?? Sorry if you said and I forgot. Math is so dependent on the teacher or the subject....there's two types of learning math 1. it's hard but you understand it mostly 2. it's hard and it makes you cry

oooo asronomy do you like that class???? ohmg in science olympiad one time i tried to take over astronomy from somebody who was sick and i had two hours to prepare on the bus with their notes and i died i didn't know the names of anything
i guess i've never studied astronomy before

yeahhhh i'm a hella feminist so i loveeee women's studies type things in fact i think i should take a class like that if i have time...

honestly got better commetary on the republican debate (which i watched for 3 hours in an auditorium) from tumblr than from some of the professors that were talking afterward. I mean, most of tumblr's commentary was humor but there was also a lot of good analyzation about the misinformation that the republicans are spreading about abortions and how they want to keep funding the military even though over half our budget goes to the military

We mainly watch movies and then discuss them in class afterwards. We also write things on our online discussion boards and write essays too. The people in my class are super good at analyzing films though. They remember all kinds of details that I barely remember after watching it once. XD

It's just a basic math class (I think). On my schedule it's called Contemporary Math. idk We've talked about probability and box-and-whisker-plots (didn't think I'd see those again) so it doesn't seem like too hard of a class (but it's math though so I can never be sure).

I like astronomy so far (I almost took chemistry but then I remembered high school chemistry). It's just an introduction class so we're learning the basics right now, but I do like learning about space.

You should take one if you can. Mine's technically a Women's and Gender studies one that takes about gender, race, and all kinds of things. Some of the people in my class seem pretty open to learning about these things (they were asking all about Asexuality and Transgender people the other day), but there's also that one student who's like "I don't like ____." welp maybe this class will help educate people to be more accepting.

Tumblr is were I get all of my political news (and rarely FaceBook too). I feel like Tumblr's depiction is pretty accurate of what went on (although I technically didn't watch the Republican debate). I just don't understand Republicans (or why people are actually supporting Donald Trump, who clearly can't 'fix' America when he can't even fix his hair). They're always like "God says this" or "Jesus said __" but like there's a separation of church and state. Plus their views on women are just backwards

People think Donald Trump is funny and merits attention when in reality he is acting more immature than a five year old and honestly do not understand how he is getting so much of the vote? He's so racist and sexist and ignorant of the lower classes. It terrifies me that people actually want him to be the next president.

His whole campaign seemed like a joke at first. I was originally like "There's no way people could take him seriously", but after seeing how much people actually support him I'm getting pretty nervous. I really don't want to have to explain to the children of the future how such a racist sexist man was elected, so I really hope he doesn't win (Bernie Sanders must win at all costs, or at least someone other than Trump but preferably Bernie).
Honestly though, the fact that people would even support someone so racist and sexist really says a lot about how backwards a lot of people's opinions are in this country. It's like we've gone back in time.
