That is actually a complicated question. Partly because I often feel traditional artists think about and appreciate the basic principles of art more, while computer artists (especially 3d) often only admire certain qualities of the work (like rendering quality, modeling quality). Partly because (especially a few years back) I got the impression people who work traditionally think the "computer does it for me anyway". Sometimes I'm still not sure if people appreciate digital art as much as traditional one, especially people who did not grow up with that technology (in fact I'm pretty sure most have a warped impression of digital art).
I hope that makes sense somewhat ;) (Wink)

Yes it makes sense! I was just curious cause you highlighted the fact that i'm a traditional artist. I'm not sure if all traditional artists think digital art is piece of cake. The ones who think like that have probably never seen 3d programmes/artists working. I know it takes lots of time and work, and I thought the result was beautiful with The Old One commeth! Your work has a very mysterious atmosphere about it and I like it a lot :) (Smile) I'm also happy to hear my comment meant so much to you, thanks!

Not all of them of course...but nowadays there is a large industry behind it, with so many movies having large parts of CG in them. If that is all of the connection you have with CG then it is probably easy to think nothing of it. I'm only hypothesizing about it though, from my personal experience in the recent years.

I will keep an eye on you and see how you will develop as well :) (Smile)
