I'm doing fine too. Busy as a honey bee at the moment. Need to prepare a lot of things simultanously but it's totally ok.

Unfortunately it takes time to produce good art and maybe that's the reason artists are always busy hehe.
How was you 4th of July celebration? As a German I don't know anything about it ^^

Yeah I know! If you're doing lots of detail on a piece it can take hours to complete.
It was fun! The fireworks were really big and loud!(most of the ones my neighbors shot off were illegal but no one really cared XD)

I really like watching fireworks but I don't need these loud bangs. My poor dog is always scared.
Major holidays in Germany. We celebrate Christmas relatively similar to your traditions except a few differences.
Another major holiday is Eastern. We eat chocolate rabbids and seek candy in the garden.
I think these holidays could be seen as the biggest. In Germany we do not celebrate our unity or independence. ^^
I can't really say which holiday is my favourite. It's always great to be together with the people you love hehe

Yeah! Both my dog and cat are scared of fireworks so they didn't like the loud ones XD
Wow those holidays sound fun!! I agree, any holiday spent with family is a good holiday. (but if I must choose, Christmas is my favorite because of the music, food, cold weather, and (sometimes) snow!) It's always cool to hear about the differences and similarities between countries!Β Β

Totally aggree on you on Christimas. This year I'm going to visit my parents again.
Unfortunately I'm not able to spend every Christmas with my family.
Have I already said that we open our Christmas gifts on the 24th and not the morning after?
So Christmas Eve is the day for the children haha. The 25th and 26th are just days off with tasty food relaxing.
By the way. I totally love Halloween but unfortunately this is no big thing in Germany. We don't have much kids
who dresses as ghost or whatelse, going through the streets and collecting sweets. Halloween here is more an
adult typo thing -> party hard but not my thing. Drinking in a costume is still drinking and I don't drink.
In Germany you are allowed to drink wine and beer at the age of 16 and harder stuff at 18 (because in Germany you are an adult when becoming 18).

Wow that's so different from here! (I mean there are adult partys but generally its for the kids) I guess when you think about it Halloween here is an odd concept, kids dressing up and asking strangers for candy XD
Haha I'm with you there I don't drink or party either. Oh yeah I forgot in many countries you can drink at the age of 16 or even 18. I think 16 is a bit young but 18 makes sense because you're an adult at that age.
