I have been at it a very long time. Since I was a very young kid.  Practice is the key if you really want to learn.  Just draw as much as you can. Try every day.  I'm self taught and I used to draw as a kid and didn't know I was learning.  If that's your goal then it's worth it.  But just looking at art is fun too.
