I have a question: do you use photo reference to create drawings or do you rely on imagination?

mostly photo, i try to do memory, its rare that it comes out right. Sometimes the photos i use change into something different likeΒ Belly Bendy x Kelly Β and the originalΒ s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/7β¦

I'm only asking because I think the stiffness comes from relying on reference more than understanding the gesture. This is my main critique for the other works I've seen of yours. I like how you capture the accuracy of poses and stances, but the stiffness makes it hard to enjoy it. And the only other criticism I've had is that color choice is not always ideal for each picture in its composition. However, these are things that could be ignored since people seem to like your work and I presume this is just a hobby.
