Unfortunately hubby's work place is without power so he is out of work. :( (Sad) I'm without computer though - and temporarily without option to repair it till the power is back all around us, and we get some gas deliveries. I saw the crazy people lined up for gas. I understand the shortage but the way some people are acting about it is ridiculous. It was a freak storm, things will take time to get back to "normal"

Hug Hug Hug Hug Hug Hubby's firm got power back yesterday, after a week without. Phew! Phew! Phew! Phew! Phew! That's relief as no work means no money. Blush Blush Blush Blush Blush Most of my co-workers still don't have power and that means no heat, no water, no shower, and we are expecting Nor'Easter tomorrow. Roll Eyes More damage on the way, like we didn't get enough of that already. Disbelief
:) (Smile) As to gas stations and long lines - if there is one gas station open in 25 miles radius, the lines are expected. People acting about lack of gas is normal too - you can't walk anywhere in NJ, you have to drive. After 3 days without even one gas station open more and more people were at the empty in their cars, and to get to the store for food and water, or to work if it was existing, requires driving. Not to mention that gas was a must for all those generators that people were using to keep one room at the house warm or to heat water to shower. O_o O_o O_o O_o O_o With roads closed and no gas delivery those few gas stations open run out of gas in few hours. No wonder people were getting panicked. Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug If hubby's firm was open last week he would have run out of gas before weekend too. Now it's easier as more stations opened and most roads are cleared - the lines at gas stations are rather short.

Hug Hug Hug Hug Hug I'm fine overall. Waiting with patience for banks, stores, doctor's offices, and other "normal" facilities to open and start functioning again. I've got my fingers crossed.
