I think it's closed up now, but keep an eye open because I'm willing to bet a ton of people will fail to deliver their pieces in time, resulting in open spots. PM the mod that published the announcement ( ~TheStrategos ) and he can get you on a wait list for it. As for characters, it's one character per artist so just ask and if it hasn't been claimed yet you're golden. Just shoot him a note asking to be wait listed and select a character, or you can just ask him to shuffle whatever character gets vacated to you.

Hi. How did you become the founder of the group " Marvel-fans"? I wouldd love to start my own group.

Actually it was kind of incidental. I'm not the founder, but I am the head admin of sorts.

Maybe around a year ago the group was looking for co-founders because the actual founder was pretty much tired of running it. I had a lot of experience moderating online groups and DA groups specifically, so I signed up. From there I ended up giving the sorting system and the rules a major facelift, and helming the administration of the new system.

Really the best way to start your own group is to simply get on it. Build up a set of rules and a sorting system that is easy to learn. With smaller groups the sorting can be more casual, but because #marvel-fans is so huge we have to have a very specific set of regulations. Always try to be patient and polite with users who have a problem-- say please and thank you at the very least. Affiliate with like groups to boost your membership and signal boost it like you would anything else. :) (Smile)
