hey. once you asked about Loki having his JΓΆtun features in Avengers. I couldn't find it ever since, but there is this gif where he has a very strange face, and this was the scene where they made that JΓΆtun zoom a while back

hmm, actually I don't think it is his jotΓΌn features (after all they don't change much, except he's blue ) I think it's only the reflection and I see nothing strange about the face I don't wanna know how I look when I shoot blue energy againt my enemies (which i do all the time...)

hehe, i think they just wanted to give him this alien look and they just screwed up. There was a better shot, and he had some markings, but overall he looked more like the Grinch....

hey I'm really good! What about you? So good to here from you, too, I thought you didn't wanna write me anymore

Yep, just got back! I bough a tangled snow globe, a tangled cup, a tangled book (it's the movie as a picture book for children, and it is reeeeeally lovely painted, with rough brush strokes and all, you would love it!) and a tangled christmastree bauble
So, now, I'm happy!

What have you done in the past days?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-10-12 22:08:37 +0000 UTC]

What? Why wouldnt I want to write to you?
Tangled snow globe? That sounds just great! Pictuuuuurrrre So there was no freaky Flynn at Disneyland? Your gifts sound like it's already X-mas, so great
Was Disneyland ok?

With me, not much. Past few days were spent -as you can surely guess- with drawing, and if not, then writing XD Damn Loki. And also just came back from abroad again, watched some Hiddles' movies, and all that geeky stuff people with no life do

Oh there was at the parade and he did wink at me, I have it on camera! He looked horrible though. ^^
Disneyland was awesome!!! Not just okay

Oh you are you infected I guess you're already counting the days till Thor 2 hit theatres? So are you writing a Thor fanfiction now?

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-10-13 16:45:44 +0000 UTC]

weeeeeh, just answered! You've got some really good stuff there
I heard they have some Harry Potter Park in US(?) with all that Hogwarts stuff like butterbeer and Every flavour candy (or how the heck it is called) and you can walk around Hogsmeade and go to the pubs and shops and all that, yaaaaaay, I want to go there!!!!

You kidding, girl? I'm writing the FOURTH fanfic right now... Three are all done and up already
Sure I'm counting like an idiot, but it's still more than a year, and they havent come out with any set photos on Loki, only the others and I'm going craaaazy, I have to know his hair

Really? I can't believe that Warnerbros would give Disney the credit for Hp! But then again, Disney has a lot of stuff in Disneyland Paris of movies it doesn't own. There's a star wars attraction for example But it's really cool and lovely!
But if there is such a Hogsmeade than I BET it's awesome, because Disneyland just has an eye for details.

Oh wow I am going to check those now!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-10-13 19:17:21 +0000 UTC]

No, I'm not sure it's Disneyland, maybe it's something different. I saw it here when I was searching for butterbeer recipe a few months back [link] It's someone's blog who went there and took pictures, and wow. It looks like it's of Universal's, idk, but they have a Marvel Heroes Island there, yaaaaay.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-10-13 20:59:49 +0000 UTC]

it's not Disneyland, it says in the Blog that its the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I guess they have an own park! But that looks AWESOME!!
I always wondered what Butterbeer was made of. It does sound delicous!

Omg, Marvel Heroes Island, I can imagine you there!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-10-14 13:15:34 +0000 UTC]

yes, it sounds delicious but requires a lot of ingredient we dont have here in hungary, so i think i have to live without tasting butterbeer *gross crying*

LOL, I'm afraid they wouldnt be able to drag me away from the superheroes

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-10-14 15:10:20 +0000 UTC]

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-10-14 15:19:48 +0000 UTC]

yeah, this girl who made this blod has the recipe: [link]
i think she figured it out how to do it, kind of an experiment, but I cannot make it, soo many syrups and stuff are missing I have no idea either, but when I read them drinking butterbeer and pumpkin juice, I always got thirsty and hungry and had to raid the fridge

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-10-14 19:22:00 +0000 UTC]

haha, wow, I would just LOVE to drink butterbeer! I am actually considering visiting the park, but I bet it's in the USA or England, so maybe when I visit the country I could also go there

Right, the pumpkin juice. I always imagined that to be really fruity and refreshing, but now that you think about it, it sounds more like tomato juice or something

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-10-14 21:33:42 +0000 UTC]

I think it is in Orlando, actually, and maybe this is why I was thinking of Disneyland. So US:S Shit, because I never had Florida in my plans when visiting the US.

I dont know why but I always thought of the pumpkin juice like it was hot - maybe because I'm a big fan of pumpkin soups, so i imagined it warm and thick. But then I googled some recipes and all of them say it should be served with ice But it's just weird for me because autumn is the season of pumpkins, and to be honest I dont feel like drinking anything with ice when it's cold outside... It's tea time
Btw, I tasted the tea you gave me and it's so great Thanks hun again

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-10-15 12:46:41 +0000 UTC]

Oh well, but there's a lot near Florida, like NYC, so maybe for a two day trip one could go to Orlando

Hmm, but they wouldn't always drink something warm to dinner, right? I love pumpkin soup, too (just ate it yesterday, yum!) but I never connected it with pumpkin juice My brain is weird!

Glad you like it, I remembered you telling me that you like tea, so I thought maybe I should bring you tea ^^. I don't know what "good tasting" tea is supposed to be, because to me it all doesn't taste good at all!! Except turkish apple tea, probably.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-10-15 13:50:17 +0000 UTC]

No no, the pumpkin juice is cold. It's just silly me who thought that it would be warm - Hogwarts anyway doesnt seem like a warm place all in all, so i'd expect them drinking warm stuff. But it's just me, non-British

Tea is actually the second best drink after coffee

Just watched the Dark knight rises. Did you know Cillian actually was in it? We just discussed they omitted him, but no. Good surprise

And another person just left the Thor 2 - Mads Mikkelsen would have been in it but refused due to clash of schedule. I dont care till Tom is in

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-07-30 10:36:05 +0000 UTC]

I know he was in it I read that there was a scene with him where he would be the judge or anything?? Yay, the Dark Knight Rises, gonna watch it the day after tomorrow with my cousin! I'm so excited! There was this huge hype around it in the US so that really got me

Mads Mikkelsen, who's that?

Yep, he is a judge, and of course, a crazed one He has two short scenes.

Cool that you liked it I think it's weaker than the previous 2, but not that bad. I liked how dark it was, depressing and kinda desperate.
And yep, Cillian's Scarecrow was again all f.cked in the right proportion

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-08-03 21:10:48 +0000 UTC]

nah, it was better than Batman begins and def. also than Dark Knight (I am kinda annoyed by the joker and the hype around him. He's fun, but not that great! Sometimes I guess they are only doing it because Ledger died... )

Yes, there shoulda been more of him, when the two scenes were over, I was so sad, because I knew you had said there were only two..

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-08-03 22:12:38 +0000 UTC]

I like Begins more than TDK, but I still think there were some cheesy lines and such in this one, and maybe even a lack of arch in the tension, that made it be somewhat "worse" for me than the others.
Ledger's Joker was really good, amazingly so, and he was a good actor. I dont knwo the reason of the hype, but i try to judge people from standing offside.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-08-03 22:15:42 +0000 UTC]

haha, about cheesy lines, cillian had his own few of those in Begins ^^ like "you need to lighten up" just before he would set batman on fire But it was adorable, he's such a cute villian compared to the Joker of Bane

I think the dark knight rises had some really surprising twists in it, just as joseph gordon levitt's character turning out to be Robin in the end and all that... the only strange thing is that appearantly the people in Gotham City don't worry about dying from that huge amount of radioactivity they got when that nuclear bomb exploded only a few miles away from them

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-08-05 09:34:12 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, he is not the intimidating type of villain. If there is anythig intimidating in him is his madness.

I had the feeling he would be Robin. Batman told all these lines to him about heroes shouldnt wear a mask in order to protect the ones they love, etc. I knew it was how he trained the next hero, someone who would follow him. From the comics I know that after Wayne dies, this guy would wear the Bat suit, so all along I supposed that JGL would be that next one. I liked the Thalia plot line - I mean I didnt know Marion would be the evil bitch - I was all along pretty surprised that Bane was Ra's son while I knew that Ra had a daughter, not a son Then it of course made sense in the end.
I was assuming the bomb exploded outside the range (they said something that it destroys everything within 6 miles or something) - but hell yeah, how about the wind...?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-08-05 16:13:33 +0000 UTC]

I didn't know about the comics, lame me, so that's probably the reason why Nolan could fool me that easily. ^^ I am one of those people, who don't read the comics, only watch the movies I know the "real" fans hate them
But didn't fight Robin alongside Batman? How can he only be Robin after his death? Or some comic knowledge I'm missing out again?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-08-06 07:28:49 +0000 UTC]

no worries, I dont read the comics either, I just saw it once on wiki, i guess.
I dont think you should try to link Nolan's movies with anything ever made for Batman. Actually, I'm not an expert, but as I remember from wiki, they fought alongside as Batman and Robin, then Robin became Nightwing (not sure here), then when Wayne died, he took over Batman's role. But really, Nolan's version is different in many things.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-08-06 20:29:39 +0000 UTC]

I've seen a lot of critical comments about The Dark Knight Rises lately, like the people are just not liking it, because it's good. Like it's too mainstream to like it -.- They say things like "the movie was ok, but what's the hype." Yeah, right, but Avatar is of course the best movie ever made (did I ever mention that I hated Avatar, because it lurched me into the cinema with these HUGE expectations and I really didn't enjoy it at all) Sorry, I just had to rant about that a little, because they always seem to get their "I don't just like a movie because it's popular" attituted on the wrong movies...
stupid hipsters^^

For me, Nolan is still the bomb, I think there are no movies quite like his, no matter how mainstream that might be Btw did you ever watch Memento? it's, I think his first movie, and it's really good, if maybe a bit unrealistic (not more than a superhero in a batsuit, though..)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-08-07 09:21:06 +0000 UTC]

This hype works strangely. I'm not sure this is the case now. I mean, TDK was hyped and it was Nolan's Batman, so why wouldnt they hype it now? I think it's somewhat really weaker or simply the expectations were so damn high that all they could do was being disappointed. But really, i couldnt care less about hypes..
And yep, we share the same lack of enthusiasm about Avatar, that was sooooo dull. And so long, and I didnt give a shit about any of the characters, and the plot made my brain burn out with its simplicity (should i say stupidity? it was straight as a stick). That was my first 3D movie, so okay, that part was enjoyable for an hour or so, but other than that... I generally dont even like 3D movies, they are effing annoying.

Of course I saw Memento. YOu know, i did so back then, when it got into the movies ages ago, and nobody had any idea who Nolan was. I remember whatching it and thinking: damn, I havent seen such a movie for a while.. But i think his firs movie is Insomnia. Anyway, I've seen all of his movies, maybe except for the one he filmed in college.
Prestige? Seen that one?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-08-07 14:57:38 +0000 UTC]

No, I didn't saw Prestige, I started watching it, but never finished it. As far as I recall, it had Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale in it, as well as Michael Caine. I still have to finish it some days. Wow, all of his movies, I've only seen the batman movies, Memento and of course Inception as far as I remember. ^^ You are as always one step ahead of me

Yes, Avatar WAS stupid. And dull. Not to mention how ridiculous that stupid language sounded and there were like those "learn Navi" tutorials in the Bravo and such ^^ It was horrible really, looked like they wanted to copy inventing a fictional language for the story like it's done in (I think) Lord of the Rings (again, not sure about LotR, haven't read the books or watched the movies, but I think they invented a new language in the books, because someone was talking about how "Eragon" had stolen that idea from LotR.)
Anyway, also the Navi didn't look cool, but they were just blue. that's it. Blue and black haired. Other than that they looked pretty much like human-beings, only ugly ^^ Sorry, but there wasn't a lot of fantasy to it or something. gosh, FINALLY someone that doesn't like the movie, everyone around me just loved it -.-

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-08-12 09:10:11 +0000 UTC]

OMG, you started watching Prestige and could stop it in the middle?? That one is just as clever one as Memento. I soooo love it. It makes you sit there and think, like Inception did, then you need to rewatch it to see if your theory is correct, but maybe there is no correct theory to begin with

Yep, LOTR invented languages, not one, but come on, Tolkien was a language professor...! He really build a whole world with its history, with its species, and all the languages with their grammatical structure. For over decades!! That was his life. You cannot beat that with sth like Avatar...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

IseeButterfly In reply to miraxterrik [2012-08-12 14:53:51 +0000 UTC]

I only saw like 20 minutes of it But I will definitely watch it someday, it's on my list of movies I HAVE to watch, like Wall-e, because that movie looked absolutely amazing! Nolan always has a way with movies, he's a genius!

I know! that's why I hate Avatar! Because to me, it seemed like it was done without any dedication! Like they said the screenplay took 10 years to creat!! What the F*CK? The story is sooo lame, who needs 10 years to create such a dull plot?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

miraxterrik In reply to IseeButterfly [2012-08-13 13:28:48 +0000 UTC]

lol, 10 years for the screenplay?? Give me 10 mins, and I do a better one. If they said it was the whole tech thing that took 10 yrs, i would believe it without a twitch, but the screenplay... LOL.
