Lol I hate needles with a passion.
I love the hemotologist at the doctor's, she can take vials of blood from me and it wont hurt.
I've had people do it before and I cried the whole time because they hit a nerve or something.
But yeah, I hate pricking my fingers. ;n;
What I did when I first started drawing skulls was study them and trace them in GIMP, then once I got confident enough, I finally did it on my own.
And lol yeah I just make a line down to his feet and trail it off behind him when I get to his paws.

Especially horse skulls. ;A;
It usually helps to just make small lines trailing, with a couple of drops on the ground.
