They were made to be something that fits roughly in the kind of generic 'futurespace' of most hard sci-fi settings.

Maybe there is FTL? maybe not.

The important thing about the world is the wonder and tragedy of two sentient beings meeting, and being so sorely misunderstood by each other that it creates a war that by the sheer vastness of the galaxy will take thousands of years to be called off.

The Black Wing is the Black Paw's mobile command center, and appears in The Black Paw Graphic Novel. We're taking pre-orders on it now, and it ships in December.
