Oh my goodness, yes! I saw it last Saturday while I was in South Dakota with a friend. It really was amazing! I've been a huge Transformers nut since I was seven, watching the television series' and the movies. This new movie is fantastic, I can't wait for the new movies in this trilogy.
And, dinosaurs make everything better. How could they not?( Grimlock totally made everything better too. c: )

I liked it a lot when I was four or so, then I just sort of stopped (I have no idea why, I was weird). But when the first movie came out, I started to like it more. Now I think they're amazing again. *w*

Grimlock was amazing :3 But I think my favorite was Strafe (the pterodactyl). I really wish that the dinobots (I think that's what they're called?) had more screentime...

I remember having to wake up really early in the morning to go to Extended Day, because my mother worked at the hospital. So she would get us up an hour before we left, and I would watch TV. Playing at that time was Transformers Animated or something. I think that's where I got hooked. So when the movies finally started coming out, I was the oddest seven year old ever. I remember watching Revenge of the Fallen and Dark Side of the Moon in theatres, but I'm not sure about the first one.
The three year waiting period was terrible. I remember coming home from watching the third one, and printing out a picture of Optimus. Now that I look at it, I just noticed it says 2014. I swear, I had no idea that was there. It was secretly reassuring my addiction from three years ago.
Yes he was! And Bee totally seemed to have a blast riding on Strafe. I looked up the Dinobots on Wiki, and Strafe isn't a pterodactyl. o-o I really thought he was too. But, it just says "a mechanical two-headed and two-tailed Pteranodon." And it would've been nicer if they had more screen time, but they had been locked up in Lockdown's prison ship. But what's silly, is that Optimus finally decides to free them, kick them in their butts, and then run with them. How silly. LINK - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transfor…

I remember watching the first movie in theaters and having to hold in my pee for a good three fourths or half of the movie (...It was worth it to my eight-year-old self) and then going to IKEA afterwards (where we got my drawing desk)... I remember the oddest of things...
As for the second one, I think we saw it in theaters and I bought the third one and watched it for the first time a few weeks ago.
I guess it took awhile to animate all those amazing scenes?
With my (somewhat limited) knowledge of dinosaurs, I don't think that I've ever heard of Pteranodons...
True, true. But they could have shown them imprisoned through...although I might have ,missed it if they did, I had to go to the bathroom at one point.

Well, childhood was the strangest part of our lives for most of us.
I've never heard of Pteranodons since before then either. But I have heard of pteradons. Or something spelled like that.
They did show a part where Optimus looked over to see Grimlock in his proto-form (When he resembles a human) while Lockdown was throwing Optimus into a cell or when the rest of the Autobots came to rescue Optimus. You kind of had to look, it was a somewhat dark scene.
