well when some one does an amazing Totoro painting I got to add it to favorite! Oh have you heard that Hayao Miyazaki is planing a trilogy that will be his final work a last hurray before retiring, and like an evil Studio Ghibli is re-releasing all of their movies digitally remastered as well!

I'm a huge fan of Studio Ghibli, especially Miyazaki movies. I try to be very knowledgeable about the animation studio. Now Miyazaki is working on a movie set on World War II, and specifically a plane designer's life who really lived. Many people said a year ago this probably would be a second Porco Rosso movie, but is not. Finally this will be a biographical movie with so many planes like Porco Rosso, without any other connection.

However, a entire year left for this movie. Next release by Studio Ghibli, directed by Miyazaki's son, Goro, was Kokurikozaka Kara (From Corn Poppy Hill), based on a manga. Available in movie theaters in Japan since July 16th. ^__^

Tonari no Totoro has a short film only available in Ghibli Museum, Mitaka, in which Mei find a little Kittenbus (Konekobus). In this short movie, an ultra-old catbus appears, and is dubbed by Miyazaki himself. ^___^

See that is what I get for believing Wikipedia! All it does is tell me what I want to hear! *go cry into my pillow* oh well done with that! thank you for setting me straight, and why is everything released in Japan and not Amer'Ka (Red neck for America) we never get any thing nice...

Time ago, the rumor of a colaboration between John Lasseter from Pixar Animation Studios and Hayao Miyazaki were very loud. They are close friends as you can see, for example, in extras of Monsters Inc DVD (you can see a Totoro plush in Toy Story 3 too a few seconds). However, no project is planned nowadays. I think Pixar is the US version for Ghibli in Japan. Two ways to make excelent animation movies focusing on little details. I hope this colaboration becomes reality someday, but for now, this is all I can tell you. ^___^
