Hmmm...other than Oprah coming to Australia its been pretty quiet...though when I walking to the local shops this guy got arrested for something and I was like wow - he was hot too!

Oooh Oprah in Australia must have been pretty big. They actually talked about that quite a bit up here in my city, b/c these two women got to go as part of the audience. From hearing them on the radio they sounded pretty excited I bet that was a really cool event!

Lol ya seeing random arrests at local shops is always kinda wierd IMO. I once say an older woman (like around 50) try and steal something from a makeup/jewelry store for teen girls, that was one strange day

Sweet, at least tourism is increasing because of her...though other than new years things are pretty dead here at the moment...though some parts of australia are flooding from the heavy rain fall even though its summer - were usually more affected by bushfires.

My brother got accidently mistaken for someone once by the coppers and got taken downtown - it was one weird day alright.

Thats good that tourism is going up, Australia has always sounded like a nice place to travel to. But ya, floods suck big time. I would have never thought that water could do so much damage to things. And I've never seen a bushfire before, but I know we don't get those up in Canada- its usually too cold XD

I dont live near those bushfire and flood areas so I wouldnt know how they felt. But one time our laundrywas pouring water on and the whole end half of our house got flooded for a while and I once witnessed a hosue fire across my street but everyone was safe. I want to visit Canada or Alaska when I'm old enough to travel alone!

The crime was a gang fight kind of thing...lucky my bro was let go.

I've never been to Alaska, heard it was alright. I was surprised to hear that there isn't many polar bears living there and that there is more of them in Canada. I believe there is little town in the very northern parts of the province of Manitoba that has the most Polar bears - They even give polar bear sight seeing tours lol But the scary thing is is that some of the bears will come into the town and wander through the streets at night. I guess since I live in the cold, I never look north for a vacation lol I like my warm vacations!

Waaah Polar Bears im definetely going to canada. I actually had a friend that moved to Toronto about two years ago. I really miss her, but who knows she mightve seen some polar bears. Id probably kidnap a polar bear cub and hid it from rangers lol...there just so cute!><

I kno!! :3 They are very cute - a little dangerous lol - but extremely adorable!!! I'm very glad that there is a cute polar bear cub pokemon now. Its about time they made a pokemon of those cute cubs

I never knew that, I just saw its picture, it has an icycle hanging out of its nose...the 5th gen pokemon are pretty cool for the first stage, but the evolutions look crap.

Totally agree. I really like mijumaru, but he just gets uglier as he evolves! The perfect example is that cute terrier pokemon, Yorterrie. As it evolves it gets ugly and grows a friggin mustache!!

I know I was like wtf...I actually like Mijumaru ans Tsujata's evos...they remidned me of digimon...as a fact a lot of the new pokemon remind me of digimon for some reason.

So how's Xros Wars been?

Completely agree with u on that. Some of them could definitely pass as digimon, especially that gear one

Xros Wars in awesome!! I'm really liking it, which is good b/c I was pretty skeptical about its uniqueness in the beginning. Its getting pretty intense but hopefully they don't burn out lol I hear there is still around 20-30 eps left
