Hi Marcus, I rarely log on to Deviant Art because of lack of time. I do miss seeing your new work especially. I had a show this past March which took so much of my time and during Spring and Summer I have an old farm with a friend that I go to which is 3 hours from NYC. We are big time landscapers and have created so many natural gardens over the past 8 years so it take a great deal of my free time between my regular job, my photography and all the work we do outside. With the cold months coming I intend to produce more images with the hope of pushing the work further into the abstract. I have so many ideas I need to play with.
I SO LOVE YOUR WORK. You are in the top 2 or 3 artist on this site. Your work is so incredible and please know I'm tough. Have you had many shows? I am hoping to be represented by a gallery in NYC at some point that gets my work. I've had tremendous feedback from some pretty well known photographers who's works are in museums. Our day will come... Thank you so much for all your feedback on my work. Please feel free to offer suggestions. I respect your thoughts so much. Be well my friend... john

John,It is so nice to hear from you! The farm you and your friend share sounds like a wonderful refuge from the city-a real sanctuary of sorts.Your natural landscapes sound quite intriguing,indeed.I am thinking to myself,does he have an abstract quality to these landscapes....I cannot overstate how pleasing your comments are,re:my work .I am sure you will agree,that ,although,popular appreciation of our work is pleasant,we really create for the sake of creating ,more than anything.....however,supportive words from a fellow artist, are always especially welcome,and I so welcome yours.take care my friend,mark

I have been busy these past couple of months preparing for a show which opened two weeks ago. So far so good.

Thanks Mark. I'm hoping to get a show here in NYC (which is where I live). I've been in many group shows here but I think it's time to show my work on a large scale. Fingers crossed. You must show your work? Where do you live?
