Your prehistoric mammal art is wonderful! It's nice to see subjects from all over the Cenozoic (not just Pleistocene).

I have been trying to restrict myself to Eocene animals in an attempt to complete drawings of every know animal of that era (it's a big task but seems like a good use of my time). This has been a great learning experience for me as I started with no knowledge on the subject. For example;I just had to look up 'Cenozoic'
Thank you <3

Ooo, that's a great project! And ambitious. If you have access to a good library, Prothero's After the Dinosaurs gives an interesting account of the global environment (and its changes) across the Cenozoic. ~JWArtwork , ~Jagroar , *Julio-Lacerda , ~Eurwentala , ~RomanYevseyev , ~Zimices , *viergacht , ~Afrovenator , ~Dantheman9758 , ~DiBgd are artists with some great paleo galleries that include some early Cenezoic portrayals. Some of these folks possess encyclopedic knowledge of early mammal taxonomy. There are lots of other wonderful paleoartists here on dA, but this list includes the artists I know of who seem especially good with the age of mammals. I love paleoart, and your project excites me because I can't think of anyone using markers as you do to create reconstructions. Also, the Eocene get overlooked, despite having some splendidly specialized and diverse fauna. I hope you have much fun with your illustrations!

Thanks. I have been using this exercise to experiment with these markers and perfect a style before tackling another project I have in the works.
