How do i get started wit Digital Art? Is there software i need? Or what can i do?

If your computer has the Paint program you can do simple flat coloring, but I purchased Corel Painter, which is nice but if you REALLY want to get a program I would recommend Photoshop.
I also invested in a Tablet, instead of using the mouse...

Thx so much, I found a free download software digital painter (paint.net). Looks worth it. Corel looked really expensive. Cannot do anything that commited.

I found Painter 11 on E-bay, an educational edition for around $100...... so I guess I got lucky... but awesome, go have fun with digital
