Sounds nice. I miss the nights we were having here not long ago, where we could sit outside for hours because the air was just warm enough.

I know, isn't it just the cutest? Those two haven't changed a bit. Jan still looks like he's trying to charm the socks off someone and Geir looks as if he desperately wants to find a closet to hide in hates being int he spotlight, that one.

Wow, had one hell of a gullywasher yesterday. 70mph winds came before the bulk of it rolled in. My sister was trying to keep the car on the road and the lights in the stores (and traffic lights) were going out around us. But we made it home ok.

Though I more or less got sandblasted by the wind in the parkinglot swirling up gravel. I did not like that.

I'd say some sort of tomato for sure. I prefer roma ones, personally. And some type of lettuce, if you can keep the critters away. We have deer that keep wandering out from the forest and making trouble. I'm not sure what you're animal situation is like.

Zucchini is also good.

Also, what are your opinions on artichokes? Not growing them but as a food. I remember having a conversation about them...wasn't sure if it was you.

Mm, I love Roma. My favourite tomatoes are Roma and Strawberry.

Haha no, that wasn't me. I like them well enough. I quite like them on and in things. But the preserved ones from the jars are far too oily to the point where they make me gag.

Squash? Well, I enjoy my pumpkins, though they are more for carving. I've not had much beyond that as far as growing goes. Though, I love acorn squash.

I've been nosing around for some uncooked ones. And this two days ago they're all over the place. I need to pick one up tomorrow...

I love Butternut Squash. But Acorn Squash is lovely as well. Have you ever had them caramalised? Butter, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, honey; delicious with a side of mashed potatoes :3

But I'm good, been looking into possible jobs, but first i'll reapply to wally world to see if I get hired or not. Then i'll be looking at a hobby lobby to see if that job hasn't been taken. I'll be wary of the glassware there if I do get that job...

I've always wanted somewhere secluded too. But more in the countryside, near cliffs and fields and a small village. Probably in the UK or Iceland or something

Somewhere in or around the UK perhaps. I don't mind drizzly rain. Or sometimes I just want to live more outside...in the parts of the state where there are hardly any people. I'd live in an old house in a windbreaker (as in the wall of tress farmers put up) and I could see the storms roll in from miles away.

Though I think I'd like to spend more time in the desert. Not the best place for pumpkins...but the heat is dry and the lightning storms are lovely.

Cliffs sound nice, though.

That sounds beautiful.

When my family came here from Russia, they settled in a place called Kamsak, Saskatchewan. To see some family history and visit some relatives, we drove there from BC. It's amazing. The fields stretch endlessly into the horizon; fields of pure gold that both compliment and clash with the clear blue skies above it. You can see farmhouses in the distance that are actually hours off and the sun is so buttery you feel as if it glistens on your skin. Many people here, in the Okanagan, criticize Saskatchewan and say it's "endless nothingness" and other such things. But I find it one of the most beautiful places int he world. I think you'd like it there too

You should go see it. You wouldn't regret it.

Brilliant one of my favourite pastimes is star gazing. Where I live here, it's a development neighbourhood, and the only good thing about that is that there are hardly any houses to produce nasty light pollution.
