Yes, I still write. I just finished a novel yesterday, in fact, "The Toymaker's Opera". Much better than the shit I wrote in college, this one is steampunk. Now begins the arduous editing process. Which I'm actually looking forward to. Got married to my girlfriend of 3 years on 9/7/14 and moved back to the Northeast.

That's so great! Congratulations on both your novel and your marriage, I'm very happy for you and I hope to see your work on bookshelves some day! Sounds like your life is coming together quite nicely.
I moved to Los Angeles in January of this year; I'm trying to find my niche in this world, whether it be through writing, acting, singing, or who knows what. Slowly I'm figuring out all this sort of "building my life" stuff and I think I'm getting there I think.

So glad we reconnected and I hope we can keep contact in the future.  :}

When I saw Mass Effect 2 I thought Jack was this really interesting complex person. Her design has a lot of details and I think she's hard to get right. Because she's no Barbie, you know? She's a tough bitch, her costume is weathered, each tattoo has a meaning or doesn't at her discretion, and unlike an anime character Jack has to look real. I think you captured all that and I really appreciate this not just as a cosplay but as a piece of art.

ps. My cat, Shiva, has lost her screen porch privileges. Not only did she climb up the screen, but it broke at the top and she was in/out for a few minutes before I came to coax her down. It would have been a long fall to the ground, so I'm glad she's okay but frustrated that she's such a trouble-maker.
