It's from "World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War".
The 'Zack' in the quote is the military designation they gave to the zombie horde.
The book is in fact a collection of interviews from all over the world the author took some time AFTER the worldwide Zombie War ended.
I listened to the audio-book version, which has the plus of a book that you have to imagine how everything looks and the plus of a movie that you can hear the different voices and intonations
It's also the exact same text as the book, just played out by different voices.
If you like zombies, read or listen to it
They're gonna make a movie of it in 2012 if I'm not mistaken, but I doubt it can beat the book/audio-book

Yea, movies rarely ever live up to the books in my opinion. I was pretty disappointed in the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie they made a few years back especially... mostly because it really didn't stick to the book at all on a lot of important points I think.
I hope your movie will live up to your expectations though! I'll see if I can find that book somewhere and check it out.
