I wanted to do a character thats not drawn much on deviant art and I'm such a big fan of the old kung fu movies. I was amazed by the Kill Bill series and was was inspired to do it. I'm really glad you liked it. Thanks for stopping by my page to check it out!!

You're quite welcome, Kill Bill was really riveting and most pei mei works on da were somewhat insulting until i saw yours. you really did him dignity man

I get alot of people telling me that Pai Mei would never use a sword and that he hates the japanese. So I might have messed up on that part, but I didnt realize that till I finished the painting. I did my best to portray him the way he deserves. Now that I think about about it I should have painted him laughing and stroking the beard

i admit, he despises Japs something fierce and true he loves to fondle his beard and laugh, but this is still a pretty dignified rendering of him, even if its a tad off in "integrity" as it were. Its still a great piece.

The theme is "The Colours of Renewal" and you have until the 21st June to submit to Digital, Traditional and Photography.
The 1st place on each folder wins a 1 year sub (or the corresponding points)
