I really want to know why you are criticizing 's new artwork devilaphoenix.deviantart.com/a⦠so hard. I mean, I saw your gallery and I must say your drawing skills need WAY more improvement than hers. I appreciate the fact that you're trying to tell fellow artists about the flaws in their works, but don't you think that first you should look at YOURSELF and your OWN flaws, and then tell people about how their work doesn't look good?
P.S.: I'm not trying to be rude, just telling you what I think, okay?

Yes you are totally correct in the fact my artwork is not even in the same universe as Destiny Blues work i've been a good artist so i turn my skills to critiquing, you know it's interesting no one else has ever challenged me? so hats off to you for
A. being the first,
B. standing up for Destiny Blue and
C. saying what you think & being honest, i mean this 100% sincerely
If i looked at my own flaws first i think i would never help anyone else achieve their goals being hung up on my own none talent XD haha!
DestinyBlue has never produced a piece of work that doesn't look good that i've ever seen and i don't think she ever will.
Like yourself i believe in speaking my mind, being honest and saying what i see so i use this to help other people, it can be taken in the wrong way but i always ask people permission to critique artwork as it's plain rude to just do it, if it's out of context can be unhelpful and artwork is an expression of the soul so it's so personal that it's not fair to do it unless people allow you to.
If you look at her previous works (if you have the time) you will see i have critiqued pretty much on every single piece she's posted on here.
I do 4 other peoples artwork as well which i've only just started on two of them so hopefully i can do more of it.
Destinyblue has allowed me to critique her artwork as she feels i will help by pointing out her flaws in the artwork so she can work on it next time i feel i am fair and honest with it i do realise this time i have said a lot of negative things but i have done that before on one piece and apologised for it only to get "don't worry it's good you say these things"
If Destinyblue does feel i have been unfair then all she has to do is message me on here or FB and tell me then i will delete my critique and ask permission to do them again.
I have known Destinyblue for must be about 5 years now seeing her regularly at MCM Expo London, Hyper Japan and a couple of other events i would like to think we are friends (well she hugs me every time i see her so i hope so XD HAHA!) I regularly buy her prints from her stall not taking advantage of deals she puts up cause i truly want to support her in anyway i can as i believe there is something to her artwork no one else i have seen can give their artwork, not saying everyone else is bad just Destinyblue has something that i've not seen anywhere else yet.
If your concerned about validation of my words by all means message Desintyblue and ask her.
I hope this clears things up so for the big message but i believe in being thorough

Thanks for telling me, I'm sorry if my comment has been a little rude-sounding. It's good that she wants to hear other people's opinion on her artworks, unlike many here on DA, and although you wrote many negative things, I saw some of your previous critiques and I'm REALLY sorry I thought you were a jerk. Again, thank you for the clarification.

Haha no need to apologise you've never met me and all you've seen is some writting by me so it's easy to think that i'm not offended

Just noticed on your pics you seemed to speak in what i thought was German. I did a bit in school all those years ago! Don't think i even remember much of it. I was just curious hope it's ok to ask? i like to talk to people from other cultures i's ingterests me.
