The mood and color scheme used in your picture "Advent" is a well made reflection of the character's personality and the area around him.
I like how you positioned the one leg as bent (vs both legs straight) and how you left the eyes without pupils (giving the character a haunting look). I also like how you chose to go with Sephiroth a black wing instead of the traditional white wing(s). It seems more suited to the picture/setting.

Very few can pull off the kind of detail that you put into your pictures and still have it look natural like what you have in "Mr Smith and servant". Yours is a refreshing style that haven't seen anything like since a few beloved children books when I was younger and I hope you continue to work with it.

Your welcome, Shortpinay. ^-^ I really like the style you draw your characters - the form you use to draw the basic body. I also like a number of the poses you use for your drawings (like Ling's). I also like how your drawings are not over the top like some are; they are simple yet give off loads of character.
Out of curiosity, how do you start a drawing of a human (say female) character? Do you sketch out the whole idea first? Do you start with a particular body part and work from there? etc?
Also, if you don't mind my asking, what sparked your interest in drawing the way you do? ^-^

hmm.. lets see.. I guess I start off by drawing the eyes. When I have an idea in my head usually I get the expression down first before I forget, then I add the hair and work my way down to the rest of the body. For the body though, I start with the torso, then work the limbs from there, using circles for joint references and squares, etc, then I later outline the basic body then add clothes to it xD I write some ideas down too, just in scribbles off to the side of the paper so I dont forget my idea
What sparked my interest?? Hmmm.. I guess watching anime and stuff really inspired me

I really liked the balance in your picture "I am Complete", not just in the sky but with the character as well. One of the initial things that attracted me to this picture was how well the gold metal/natural armor (?) sits on the character in flight. It seems natural and not out of place which is impressive.

I like natural pictures like the one that you took of the sparrow. I was skimming through your gallery and I was just wondering, are most of the pictures you take at a nearby zoo? And what kinda of camera do you use to take such clean pictures?
