# About me
Hey Guys, well I'm Johann!!!! I have a massive interest in photography and art in general (although I can't draw very well =( ) and I really love the outdoors and activities involving the afore mentioned, which is where alot of my inspiration comes from. I live for music, and Play drums in a band, and this is my other creative outlet. I have a fairly basic camera and hope to someday own a Nikon D200...someday...I've always wanted to make a lving from what I love, so I plan on becoming either or cross of a few of:a graphic designer
an Industrial designer
a personal trainer
a photographer
a musician

Surfing in the winter? I'm SO jealous! I want to go to a local lake next week and am dreading the cold water, as we've had cool temps and inches of rain almost daily for the past 2 months so that the solar heating of this nice lake just isn't happening! LOL I've gotten spoiled by the therapy pool that I use 3x/week; it's kept at 90*F, and it has a floor that raises and lowers, so getting in is not a chore...and the jolt of cold on the stomach is just not there!

yea, winter swells are the biggest and cleanest...but being winter it's cold as anything! But it's soo totally worth it for the awesome surf of late. I relaly want some pictures of me surfing, but I can't get close enough to the water...Some day
hahaha, 'solar heating'. Isn't it summer there? The lake will probably be 10 times better than you expect. I mean, that might not be that much by the sounds lof the comfort level...but nonetheless
ohhh, that pool sounds nice! a bit of a rude awakening coming back to lakes again...well, I guess the lake will just let you appreciate the pool better...such a conservative view I know, but hey

We have been getting several inches of cold rain per day 4 or more days a week for the last 2 months, so first off there hasn't been much "solar heating" happening, but then all that cold water dumped into the lakes makes them awfully cold. Most people around here with outdoor pools haven't been able to use them yet because all the cold water from the rain has kept the pools too cold! Brrrrrrr
Yeah, the pool is nice, but I really love "natural" water sources, lakes, ocean, etc., so I find myself wishing to go to Moreau Lake on an almost daily basis.
This summer has been about 15-20 degrees F colder on average than our normal summer. Sucks for picnics and lake outings, but makes a much smaller electric bill since the a/c's don't have to work as hard.
