I want to know where the churches you photographed are. Where are good places to eat? Are there art galleries/museums in Heredia?

Barva Church: The Town of Barva, to the north of downtown Heredia.
Coronado Church: The town of Coronado, that's to the north-east side of San Jose city.
"Good places to eat" is very relative, because you either have the local food, for which the best places are always hole-in-the-wall dinners (unless you're the I-get-sick-with-the-local-water kind of tourist), and then there's the ethnic food places like anywhere else in the world.
Good food to try here:
BREAKFAST
1-Gallopinto. A hardy breakfast witch is mainly fried rice and black beans, you can add eggs, custard (very common, in spanish = Natilla), some sausages or the likes of that, baguette bread (or whatever they have) and of course costa rican coffee! (I highly recommend Cafe Britt, but they won't have any in the hole in the wall dinners, there you'll get the cheapest and most bitter kind, so make sure you ask or it with milk!).
2-A tasty fruit salad made with all of our local kinds of fruits
To avoid gaining too much weight with gallopinto!
LUNCH
1-Casado.
As you will learn here, rice and black beans are the milestone in every costa rican strong meal, this was back from the day people where mostly farmers, and in order to withstand the tough sun beating on your back while you work the land, rice and beans where a good source of carbohydrates to burn energy.
So, a "Casado" constitutes mainly of rice, black beans, some sort of salad (in most places a little pole of chopped tomato mixed with and vinegar), sweet ripe fried plantains (mmm good), some sort of meat, and maybe something else.
DINNER
Most of the time, it's a variation of the "casado" or whatever...
People here also like coffee in the afternoon. Much like British and their tea.
If you like fruits and veggies, then downtown produce markets will drive you crazy with so much stuff to try. We have a crazy variety of fruits.
That's all the info for now
