# About me
Co founder of Flux Design in Milwaukee and now working as an independent artist with a focus on the human figure. I often work with traditional methods and materials but am now concentrating on developing my own unique aesthetics and techniques by hand forming a variety of different metals such as steel, stainless steel, and bronze into figurative sculptures.# Comments

Jesse,Welcome to DA.
Glad to have another metal sculptor join the ranks...
Hey you might want to proofread your Deviant I.D. statement(above). There are a couple of significant errors, fugitive instead of figurative.Looks like a spellcheck error...

Jesse ...
If possible, do you think that you could upload a version of the "Steel Ribbon Figure" Feed Your Soul 8" x 60" likie that of the one over on your personal site.
I think that it is a striking piece and I feel that if you uploaded it here to deviantART (with a little background on the "Feed Your Soul" charity cause), others might appreciate it and take note of the Feed Your Soul effort at aiding hunger in the U.S.A.
Take care,
v242

I'm impressed.
I'd give you to make a huge (Colossus huge) statue, made of metal in your style and put it right next to Statue of Liberty.

Mr. Meyer,
I stumbled across your "Wield" sculpture via the Daily Deviations list, and felt compelled to compliment you on it.
I'm not generally a fan of sculptures that depict the human form, because I think most artists tend to focus on the details and imperfections of the specific subject. However, your stylization of the human form into an idealized being, at once organic and mechanical in appearance, is absolutely beautiful.
Furthermore, I believe that your underlying meaning and message are very important. Technology is a powerful tool, but like all tools, it has no conscience of its own. We as a species must therefore take precautions to ensure that technology is used to better Humanity, rather than destroy it.
So, yeah... I really like it. Keep up the excellent work!
Regards,
Action N

Fine creativity displayed here, I'm a welder by trade and appreciate those creations formed of sweat, desire and metallic improvisation. Your works are true art exemplified.
