Yay!! I hate to be cliche, but Bela Lugosi's Dead is my fave also. I mean, how can you not adore a song that basically defined gothic rock for decades?! Terror Couple Kill Colonel is brilliant. I also love She's in Parties, King Volcano, Telegram Sam, Who Killed Mr. Moonlight, Stigmata Martyr, Nerves, St. Vitus Dance, etc. And apparently my super adorable hipster Spanish teacher saw Peter Murphey in concert last year... *Jealousy*

Yeah, my Spanish teacher is BADASS. Her name is Mrs. Garza, and she has the most adorable/stylish fashion sense I've ever seen on a grown woman. On the first day she had all of her nails painted black except for one white on eon each hand. She's really really chill too.

And also there's a lot of people with interesting music tastes, like this random senior from my graphic design class who came over while I was eating lunch to show me all this weird stuff. Like did you know that there's an entire genre called "witch house"? Apparently it's like this ambient house music except with heavy occult overtones. And my other friends got me sort of onto Blood on the Dance Floor and Jeffree Star, who are coming to ABQ in October so I'm going with them. (Yes, I never thought I would ever be into this kind of music.) Jeffree Star is like Lady Gaga except quite a bit better and a guy, and there's this one vid where he's on a bed with thigh-high dominatrix book licking a riding crop, so naturally I freaked the fuck out. I really want to go to more concerts in general, so I think I'll also go to Dead Kennedys with a few of my other friends. Yeah! Dead Kennedys!

that is so epic! i have never heard of witch house...(goes and looks it up) that is pretty amazing though.
OH MAN THE DEAD KENNEDYS AWW YES!!! (i super like them) that is gonna be so cool and you have to tell me all about it!
i also felt the need to go to more concerts, so this summer i went to about 15 string quartet jams, and a symphony .... ahahhaha classical music...
the thing is all my california friends don't appreciate haydn string quartets, or bach cello suites, so i go by myself, and everyone looks at me like some hipster college kid. its really entertaining!!
