His girlfriend (I can't remember her dA user name) said that everything was OK with him ... nothing "serious" at all such as a hospitalization or whatnot.  She mentioned that "he was going to take some time off", but no reason was given.

Do you have a link that you could share for his Facebook page (which cites the disturbing messages)?

I checked this one and didn't view anything alarming at all:

Then again, it didn't appear to have been in use recently.

His facebook page was deactivated. He was in need of money and was considering selling his old games and even his hard drive of his PSD's. He says he's depressed too. That's his fan page. I am friends with him on his personal account, and his personal account is deactivated now.

Sorry, but I really can't make head or tails of it.  I don't know Jace at all, other than I am familiar with his digital artwork.

Hopefully he has some type of support network available to him ... if not, I'd suggest that he get in contact with a local mental health program wherever he lives.  Surely they can offer their time and services to him whether or not he has the funds to do so.  Most of those organizations operate on a sliding-scale fee basis.

Let me know if you hear anything more and I'll pass that info along if I am asked about Jace.

Hello, I've had the chance to talk to his GF on FB. And she's telling me he's okay.He's just taking a bit of a time off. He's still doing art so I guess that's cool. I hope this clears it up. Thanks!
