# About me

I am a classically trained musician (bassoon) who recently retired after working as a secretary for a police department after 22 years. Yay!!! Love retirement!

I love to draw, especially portraits, using various pencils. I stopped drawing for years and just got back into it because well, first, because my sister died in Nov 2010 and then because I discovered Adam Lambert's band and Tommy Joe Ratliff in December '10. Tommy has the perfect face to draw.

I also love to read, mainly British cozy mysteries, have two kitty cats and hope to retire to southwestern England in a few years. (Yes, I'm that old.)
