Thanks! I'm personally only Polish by blood (75% Polish, 25% Bohemian to be exact). I live in the Chicago area which ain't Poland but does have it's share of Polish people. I play on Victory

Large population of Polish people are from Chi-town. We special order Polish sausages from there. Do you speak the language?

Afraid not. I'm a victim of "Three Generation Assimilation". My grandparents spoke it but didn't make teaching it to my parents a priority (my mom says that her mother actively avoided teaching her since then grandma could talk to other relatives without my mother understanding). As a result, my parents know *some* Polish but not enough to have passed on to me. Third generation winds up speaking English.

I'd love to take a few classes in it except my wife is Peruvian and, naturally, speaks Spanish & English. She'd kill me if I spent my time learning Polish before I learned Spanish

HEHE funny. Since my wife is Polish I get a free lesson. Its a tough language to learn if you don't know any other Slavic language.

Yeah, I tried one of those cassette tape lesson things before but with no background in it, I need professional help if I'm to learn more than "Hello".

Started playing CoH right about back at launch but then quit when the CoV beta started. Restarted this past May during one of the free weekends.

Almost started a new character on Virtue last night. But the name checker gave me a "Can't check this" which is usually the same as "It's good" (used names seem to immediately pop up as "Nope, pick again") and created a character around my name concept. Then, as you can guess, tried to enter the game and got name blocked It was late and I said "Another time, CoH!"

That's cool you were trying to learn on the cassette tapes. For me, I just watch Youtube videos or just listen to my wife when she gets all mad and stuff...jk..haha...

Check the City of Heroes DA group -- we have a VG starting on Virtue and probably will have some blue side action as well. Unfortunately, the whole naming thing is keeping me from moving a couple favorites.
