I have to say it again....good story.
Constructive criticism is a blessing to writers because writers want to entertain their readers and appeal to people on a larger scale than just "friends".
I've written for 19 years. Teachers loved my writing and my theater arts teacher loved my scripts....but my major flaw is tense and grammar and sometimes spelling. I have problems too---no one is perfect.
The reason I joined this site is to find other writers and hear what they have to say and then help if it is possible.
To me I think writing is a great talent that some just have but even if some just have it they still have to polish it and work at it.
Don't EVER feel bad if someone say something mean about your writing. Take what they have to say with a grain of salt and fix what they said is the problem...or try.
Writing is a criticized profession...every little thing can't bother you because they'll be worse things said.
