Last time I put a lot of effort into an art trade, I was told my art sucked and the other person called their half-assed project a masterpiece into comparison.

Half the time, I work harder on requests than art trades. I did say your work was better than mine, after all.

I said that because if I'm requested by someone or asked to perform an art trade with them, I make it the best I can, and I put a lot of my effort into it. but since you and I were having an art trade I just expected the same amount of effort from you as well. And I've seen your work, you're really good. I know you have much potential Jr. And I look forward to your improvement.

Actually, I DID have a nearly-finished DaiKai pic on my comp before it crashed and I lost all my data.
Remember the 'Blues Brothers' pose you wanter? Yeah. Gone.

I'll get around to it when my drawing muse comes back. Just finished drawing Kaoru's Bankai to go along with the Shikai pic, so I'm all sorts of artist's block.

I will let you know I -tried- last night to do a pic of Kaoru, Hikari, and Daisuke. I failed epically, ended up saying fuck it for the time being and got drunk drunk instead. So yeah, Buddha's on vacation for a while, lol.

The hair is ann homage to the fact that you cut your hair irl? Yeah, I saw that.

If you read the recent chapters I posted for Kaoru, you'll get a pretty good explanation of his Shikai. As far his as personal abilities, he just about matched with Byakuya in Shunpo/speed, That's his real strong point.
