I was looking through somebody's favorites (that's normally how I find new artists). The piece I ran across was your Fu Dragon auction.
I don't really know what to say as to why I began watching you (because I really just don't want to be like "EVERYTHING"), but I really enjoy your concepts and style and fuckit it's pretty much everything---

Thank you so much! Personally, I think it's horribly outdated, but every artist is their worst critic (unless they are unable to "murder their darlings").

It's awesome that you take the time to do tutorials, but the rest of your gallery is quite amazing as well. I just had to watch you.

no trouble! i have so few watchers that it´s not taking a lot of time to reply. x)

most just add the boobs tuto and don´t bother with having a look at the rest of the gallery

but i enjoyed making them and am glad that some(besides me - i also did them for my own educational purposes)find them useful. xP

That's awesome, I love your work! It's great that you're willing to offer help where there's needed but I have absolutely no idea what to ask... so you can just suggest something when you feel you want to! I'm always always always open to advice, and I don't get butthurt. xD

You should have more watchers! When I move accounts I'll feature you.

that´s sweet of you to do!

well i´m also not always looking at the full galleries, but still a lot - i think everyone who has SOME interesting work deserves a closer look, also to make sure weather or not the person might be worth a watch

but i´m not telling anyone whaat to do =O
i just find it kinda sad, that i´m well known only by this one work


oh well, you might one day encounter some stuff...
i think you still have a lot to learn and so random advice might just confuse you. go for whatever you think important at the moment - that´s how one learns the best, i think!

Oh yeah. I'm watching so many people because of that, I'll log on and have 1,000+ messages.. but it's worth it because it's interesting stuff. c:

Oh I know, I have tons to learn (but doesn't everyone? c I'm having anatomy trouble (since then I've fixed my huge head small body, and everything is 'correct'... except symmetry. And anything below the torso.. and arms and legs. xD I've been browsing tons of tutorials since then. c:

I've been doing a lot of life drawing lately, but it's becoming stressful, so I'm going to try to work on fun stylizing, because I'm sick of doing complete works.. :l

ah, ah!
well i don´t recon anyone could feel haressed by attention of a watcher/liker of their art!
so if you notify them, that should be enough.

i´m watching quite some people too, but most time i´d grow tired of people drawing/ photographing/sculpting always the same stuff just a little different and unwatch them after a year, more or less. that keeps the flood of deviations in check.

well... that can´t be helped - if you submit a lot, people will pick out their own favourites and don´t care about your opinion on it being worthy or not
but i´m okay with that - i think i never emoved anything from my gallery i ever uploaded. and there´s some pretty crappy stuff there xD
but that´s what personal progress is about.
also, like this, everyone can see, how much better i got! or at least everyone who takes a look through my gallery x)

well i´d love to see your recent drawings, anyways.

I'd hope not. xD Yeah, I planned on notifying whoever I featured in my journals. I plan on doing it weekly when I get internet back.

It does get annoying. :l I need to go through and unwatch quite a few people... but either I'm too lazy or I'll feel bad. So I'll always have a flood of deviations in my notifications. I'll just drown in the flood.

Yeah. x: That's why I don't do fanart anymore though, I'd get tons of favorites on something I spent five minutes on, but something I spent hours doing would be ignored. It's a little disheartening, and it's a slippery slope to come back up from.
I go through a deleting process as much as I feel like. I don't like anything in my gallery anymore, which is kind of a shame.. but everything is so old and outdated that it makes me want to pull my hair out. I can't get any satisfaction from self-improvement, because I'm still in the stage where everything I do sucks because I'm not advanced enough.
I'll just follow Ira Glass's advice. x:
