This is a very interesting idea, being hafe grim. I will say its a little odd being that the grim are animals, however it did make me think of kumafromtaiwan 's RWBY Henceforward AU, it's awesome! She's making a manga, check it out.

Anyway, Grissom has a nice but simple design. If you want to try adding a little more of that nice dark red trim from the color to a few more areas, like the hem of the sleeves and the bottom of the coat. I also really like his insignia. You did a very lovely job with that. I will say I think you should keep working on the anatomy, specifically in the leg and feet area, they look kind of small for him. Keep in mind that our legs make up a lot of our mass and that they also have a lot of shape to them. I know pants can kind of hide that but legs aren't usually just straight lines.

This next part is just my personal feeling toward OC backstory in general. I'm not a big fan of OC's backstory being so involved with canon characters. To me it's much more fun to create a OC character/characters and have there own story eventually meets up with the canon characters. And I'm not saying "you have change the backstory" or anything if you don't want to, it just something to keep in mind.

Luuuuuuuucky! But I get to sit in the library from 7:30ish until 1:50ish....so...I'm on my ass a lot too. Haha.
I'm doing a paper on the first game console's widespread effects on the world for the research paper. That's our last take-home paper. We only had two others. But then the final is an in class essay.
