Considering I had an image depicting what Dyo already looked like in his resurreccion picture I don't see how it'd be on my part of failing to explain it properly.
You are right about one thing though, I don't care what other people say or think.

Know what would help you? If you posted what exactly you requested. What you exactly said. That way, you could get some support in what you're doing, instead of being seen as ungrateful.

As I said before, what do I care about support of an online community? I only care about the legal instances, requirements and advantages that will help me get the picture pulled and, hopefully, rtenzo's account and gallery deleted.
Being labeled as "ungrateful" by some no-name with absolutely no significance to me is hardly something I care about. Believe it or not, people actually don't value your opinion.

So along with ungrateful, you're cynical and self-centered. Not a good combination. You'd rather have an artist lose his entire gallery, much of which is made out of the OCs of other people, so you're pissing them off too, than just accept a picture.

Cynical isn't an applicable statement, and self-centered would only apply if this was a trivial matter. As for ungrateful, what's there to be grateful for if it was my money wasted? I think you need a vocabulary lesson my friend, because the definitions and the proper use of these words seems to escape you.
I would rather a THIEF, cheat and liar be taken off of this site, reprimanded and forced to return the funds I gave him to complete my order, which he never did than let him continue on about his merry way. I've tried being civil with him, however he has no intention of doing the same. Even now he's tried to tell me that I cannot use the other image he drew for me, which was properly done. Will I continue using it? Absolutely, because it is a good I ordered and paid for. People tend not to realize, the person who BOUGHT the picture actually owns the originating copyright to it, as it was their idea. It's the same as buying the creative rights to something like a script or another art form.

Why do you hate the picture drawn? It looks fantastic. What were you expecting? You're not telling anyone anything, but if you did, it would help you. You refuse to though, but you don't care. It would probably save time on replying back to all of the people insulting you.
You haven't seemed very civil. You spam your comment on everyone who commented on the drawing. It doesn't involve them. This is between you and the artist. I'm just curious to find out what your problem is. Rtenzo hasn't bothered anyone and says he filled out what you wanted, to his knowledge. Maybe you just did a poor job explaining it?

In a private album that I won't release except for legal purposes. Seeing as how you aren't my legal representative or rtenzo's you have no business seeing it. Especially as it's Geoff's sketch he sent to me for approval quite some time ago.

Well some artists do things differently. Im sorry if Rtenzo didnt do something right but he doesnt send a rough sketch of a picture he worked on and maybe something you dont like to redo it all over again because the commissioner is picky. Not every artist can do exactly what the commissioner asked for, sometimes some details are harder to do then others. Im sure if you talk calmly with Rtenzo and not say its a complete mess maybe he will take down the image, and even repay you back for the money or redo the picture for you. He's an understanding guy if you speak to him calmly and maturely.

Well, rtenzo does send rough sketches, issue is, he never went about the final edits I told him to do, nor did he bother to send a final rough sketch.
Now as for talking to rtenzo calmly, I already have, several times. In fact, rtenzo was hostile throughout the entire process, trying to tell me how I should make my character look because he felt it was how Kubo would do it. Rtenzo's overall attitude has both been hostile and unprofessional, unbecoming of somebody trying to make money from his "art".

I didnt know since I never got to comission him. But Im sorry he didnt get it exactly like that and I understand a commissioner could be upset about it. But maybe he tried to do what was best for him and his drawing skills? Maybe he wasnt able to draw it exactly. Some artists have difficulties with things like wings, and no ones perfect.
But Rtnezo's art is really good and just from a misshap, you cant really get him deleted or taken down, since you are only one person. I understand that you bought the picture but it is still his art work and he is able to keep it up under lisanse, he cannot say he owns the character but he still did the art work which he owns. Its kind of like a 50/50 thing when commissioning/requesting. But at times artists mess up and at times get a head of themselves in the steps.

You're right, I can't have him taken down because of a bad commission. I can however have him taken down or reprimanded for keeping the picture posted if I do not want the picture shown or distributed.

Jeez, why can't you just appreciate what the guy did for you? So what if me messed up? It's still a good picture! it's not like he made it shitty on purpose!
You also took a risk when you paid him to draw for you. He did his work, and he got paid. It's not fair to demand your payment back after he did what you requested. It's just like with art thieves. When you post art on here, you take a risk of getting your art stolen.
How would you feel if someone gave you, say, 100 points, to draw an oc of theirs, and gave you a detailed description. Let's say you worked your ass of getting this picture done, and trying to make it satisfactory to the person. The post if, relieved that they finished it, and are proud of their work, when the person who requested starts railing on them that "it isn't good enough", "You're so stupid that you couldn't follow even basic instructions" "take the stupid picture down" and "Give me my points back!". How would you feel?
Like crap.
So, take a look at this situation from HIS point of view, and try to handle the situation MATURELY, instead of bombarding him with insults. Maybe he will be willing to draw another picture for you free of charge. Try a compromise for crying out loud!

See, there's a couple issues. The risk is on behalf of the artist, not the buying party.
He made no inclination that he would not be able to handle the particular job, and after seeing his other art I would agree that there should have been no issue. However, he sluffed off and failed to follow direction. There's no ifs about it, he simply failed to follow instruction and even tried to argue with me throughout the art process, telling me how I should make MY character look and appear.
I have handled it quite maturely, professionally and legally. Rtenzo however, has refused me my basic rights as the owner of the character and the purchaser of the art, which gives me double-standing rights on both sides of the fence. I'm not here to look at things from another person's perspective, I'm here to get commissions ordered and done how I WANT THEM.
Now trying for compromise, I have, by something such as posting a disclaimer, which he refused to do. Issue falls with the artist who has refused to meet the order and keep MY money. At this point, the only thief would be rtenzo, as he failed to provide the product ordered. He has done nothing for me other than make me fill out legal paperwork and documents meant to get the picture pulled and, quite possibly, his deviantart account pulled as well.

Then, if your problem is with him, instead of replying to our comments on the picture and giving us your disclaimer, bring it up with him!
The only reason I got involved with this is because YOU sent me that disclaimer! NOTE him, for crying out loud, and talk to HIM, not to some people who happen to comment on his artwork.

Me posting my disclaimer on every comment on that picture was the only way to get the message out for EVERYONE who viewed the picture to see that it was not an accurate representation of my character and the product of rtenzo's own failure and short comings as an artist.

A quaint notion, but don't feel so unique or valuable. I did it to everyone's comment for one reason, to ensure that no matter what page of the comments somebody was one, they'd be able to see my disclaimer. And seeing as how it is my character, it is my right to do so much as to ensure that his image not be warped by some piss-poor drawing.

And no, the picture Geoff did is quite different when you compare rtenzo's to it. Rtenzo screwed up the face, mask, wings, legs, body-size, everything really. There was zero proportion in his body.
