Not really, it's their choice. Have they been taught about wearing it? Yes. But they themselves made the decision. You think it's a good thing to force them not to do something they do not want to do? Nazis tortured, killed, captured Jews, gypsies, and such people. Did you ever see women in burka doing this?
You wouldn't say anything about a woman running around half with tons of leg showing and her cleavage showing.
People need to get out of the mindset that the scarf, niqab, burka, are represent oppression.
More over saying the women who do wear it is a generalized statement. One could say the same about Germans based on your past. If you were to speak german would that be the same as saying, WELL SINCE THE GERMANS PERSECUTED THE JEWS THEM SPEAKING GERMAN IS A BAD THING.
