On the subject of Battle royal: Manga started to kind of suck as time wore on. The novels are supposed to be better, so you may want to try those instead. Just thought I'd mention it before you read it and started to question my taste.
Also, is the Bokurano manga licensed? I've been wanting to read it.

Oh, I just found a fanart of Blue Rose on pixiv, and used Photoshop to delete the background parts to make it transparent around her. I then added the "BR" and heart over the transparent part.

Your review was spot-on! Seriously, we have the same opinion on the series. ._. The only difference I see is that Tsuruko is my favorite character, though Anaru is a very close second. With Poppo coming in third. Even though he had the most forced drama of all. orz
And my god, I never liked Menma to begin with, but watching the AnoHana club is torturous. All you ever see is Menma fanart... And when I saw that you liked her mom, I squealed. I thought I was the only one who sympathized with her. ;A;

I'm glad you think so. I posted my review on MAL as well, and it was the top review for the series for a couple hours. It got pushed down after that, but oh well. I got my 15 minutes of fame. xD I liked all the characters myself, by Anaru was by far my favorite. I even liked Menma. For me, she always walked the line between cute and annoying, but was usually just cute. Kind of like that one kid you babysit whose just the sweetest thing, and will randomly give you flowers or something ^^
How can you not sympathize with her mom? D8
