Hi, Kasek!
I saw your question on the Comic Creators group page and figured I'd answer as best I could.
I was in the same boat you are. Had a script and decided I needed an artist to bring it to life.
After copyrighting the script I began posting on forums and facebook and anywhere else that I knew comic book artists and geeks alike. It wasn't until I wrote a Want Ad in my DA journal describing what my comic was about and asking any artists who might be interested in illustrating it to send me links to their DA galleries. It took a couple months before I got a response, but it was worth it. Those couple months also gave me time to polish my script more.
I also suggest just looking through different DA galleries of artists who may not be established yet, but who clearly have the skill to create sequential art.
Joining the DA forums couldn't hurt either. More often than not there will always be an artist looking for a story to illustrate somewhere in the world and vice versa and more than likely, those artists have a DA page.
This place is an amazing wealth of artistic resources if you put in the time and effort.
No matter what, the process takes time and don't forget money. Any artist worth their weight is going to want to be paid, as well they should be. A lot of work goes in to making those pages, so you should also take your time in searching so you can save up some money to pay for your book.

That is the most adorable thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Honestly xD I just showed it to my boyfriend ~ZePoink and he wants to draw him too ;_;
I just have a question -- is it just his head in a costume or his whole body?

It's his whole body. He's a vampire, so it's supposed to help shield him from sunlight (ask his subordinates though and they'd just say he's crazy- hundreds of years does that).
I hope to make a webcomic with him in it someday, but I don't trust my own art enough for that quite yet. Pre-emptive fanart is appreciated though, hahaa. Glad you two like the design
