Hah I know that it said so, although, don't get me wrong, but I will be the judge here to wether you deserve a fave or not I think that you might be too critical for yourself, it was generally a very lovely poem and I can kind of relate to it, I love praise and comments and favourites, but I often feel that I draw for attention. There's nothing deep and genius about my art, its just to get people to notice me and praise me...

I draw stuff when I'm feeling in a particular way, that is a lot more expressive, art that is a lot more meaningful and holds that piece of my soul, but because I change my moods in a blink of an eye, I never get to finish any of those pieces, so i just keep it all to myself.

heh, no bother yeah, you got a bit better keep on going and you will be great ^^ you have still a bit of work with anatomy. The bodies you draw are very stretched, try using references, find a body posture and try to draw it until it looks the same, try to remember the proportions and the shape. Experiment with different poses, don't just draw your characters standing still, try to draw hands, don't keep them behind character's back. Hands are a very strong tool for showing emotions, also don't just give your chara's the same line-like smile, try to show different emotions, sadness, anger ... it makes your pictures very strong, so show off your skills and never forget background, it very important, often you gotta work on the background more then on your whole character. Some people spend days working on background.

If your not sure what i mean, try looking at just a few samples from my favourites [link] [link] [link] just a few samples on how much a simple background makes a huge difference

Your pictures are okay right now but you still have a long long way to go. Keep practicing tho, it's good that you can be proud of the work you do, cos i'm never proud of my pictures =/

Use references they are your best friends ^^ its how you learn to draw!

Tips for using Photoshop? Hmm ... I don't have photoshop now unfortunately because my comp went bonkers ... and Photoshop is such a huge program i wouldnt even know where to start. Looking at your gallery, you are already a good artist. Have a look around dA There is loads of tutorials for making each thing, from scanning and sketching, to shading and finishing ^^

I will try to upload more pictures after christmas, cos i should be getting a new comp hope to see some from you as well !
