# About me
Katrina Young is a Melbourne-based Illustrator. Her artwork spans many mediums and themes but she specializes in portraits and layered colour and pattern silhouettes. Kat is heavily influenced by fiction novels, games, cinematography and her favourite artists.She started her early career designing theatre posters and book covers, but quickly moved into the popculture world. Her career so far has seen her published in Children’s Books, Official Illustrated Movie Companions, Video Game and Art Magazines, Comic Books and even on Living Dead nylon clothing. She has also taught art in China, is a Signed Stable Artist at ArtBoy Gallery, and is one of the ‘Popculture Painters’ who are most well-known for doing live painting at OzComicCon and PAXAus conventions.

This is a group created just two days ago, and its growing. We would really appreciate if you consider joining the group.

Okay - I hope this is gonna make sense.
So. When you have the elastic part (shown in pic 1) you sew it together so that it forms a circle. Obviously it's gonna be a lot smaller than the skirt itself.
So - what you do is: you stretch the elastic to the size of the skirt. Then keep a finger (or maybe an eye) on the part of the elastic that is corresponding with the edge of the skirt (like shown in pic 2).
Then you simply pin the corresponding part of the skirt to that part of the elastic you pointed out earlier. You do this 4 times in all opposite "corners" of the fabric, like shown in the pic (I know there are only 3, but imagine the last one opposite the one with the red mark .
Then pin the emerging middle pieces and so on. Then you are ready to sew it all together! If you used enough needles it's gonna be really easy!
