Hey, I'd like to give you a few tips!
From the looks of it you're currently using a program like DAMuro or something like that. I suggest using Krita, FireAlpaca, Gimp 2 or sai, all of which are programs you can find for free. They might take some work to start up but they helped me improve my art. You can also alter line sensitivity on those programs so it should help your line art.
I don't know if you have a drawing tablet but wacom intuos is good cheap option for starting out.
Going back over your lines to cover up the white spots that come from the fill tool can help make coloring look a lot better.
Practice sketching figures on paper to help you with digital art. If you already do traditional art, you don't need a scanner to upload it digitally. You can take a picture of it and use a scanner app to reduce shadows and unwanted edges.
