When you click on reply and a new box opens up for you to type in, look down to the right and you'll see a link called "Emoticons." you can click on that and then a new window will open up with a complete list of all the emoticons you can include in your messages. many of them are traditional, like the regular smiley face which is made up of : followed immediately by ) like this . others are words enclosed in two colon symbols, like for instance the one that waves is colon followed by the word wave followed by another colon like this : wave : put them together and you get . see?
